The exam pattern for the RPF Sub Inspector (SI) recruitment in 2024 is as follows:

RPF SI Exam Pattern 2024:

• Mode of Exam: Online
• Duration: 90 minutes
• Total Questions: 120
• Total Marks: 120
• Marking Scheme: Each correct answer earns 1 mark
• Negative Marking: 1/3 mark deduction for incorrect responses
• Language: Available in 15 languages including Hindi and English

Sections in the Exam:

1. General Awareness: 50 marks
2. Arithmetic: 35 marks
3. General Intelligence & Reasoning: 35 marks

RPF SI Recruitment 2024 : The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT) requirements for the RPF Sub Inspector (SI) recruitment in 2024 are as follows: 

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) Requirements:

• 1600 Meter Race: Male candidates must complete within 6 mins 30 seconds. This event is not applicable for female candidates.
• 800 Meter Race: Female candidates must complete within 4 mins. This event is not applicable for male candidates.
• High Jump: Male candidates must jump a minimum of 3 feet 9 inches, and female candidates must jump a minimum of 3 feet. Candidates have two chances to clear this event.
• Long Jump: Male candidates must jump a minimum of 12 feet, and female candidates must jump a minimum of 9 feet. Candidates have two chances to clear this event¹.

Physical Measurement Test (PMT) Requirements:

• Height:
  • UR/OBC Male: 165 cm
  • UR/OBC Female: 157 cm
  • SC/ST Male: 160 cm
  • SC/ST Female: 152 cm
  • For Garhwalis, Gorkhas, Marathas, Dogras , Kumaonese, and other categories specified by the Government:
    • Male: 163 cm
    • Female: 155 cm

• Chest (Only for Male Candidates):
  • UR/OBC (Unexpanded): 80 cm
  • UR/OBC (Expanded): 85 cm
  • SC/ST (Unexpanded): 76.2 cm
  • SC/ST (Expanded): 81.2 cm
  • For Garhwalis, Gorkhas, Marathas, Dogras, Kumaonese, and other categories specified by the Government (Unexpanded): 80 cm
  • For Garhwalis, Gorkhas, Marathas, Dogras, Kumaonese, and other categories specified by the Government (Expanded): 85 cm

Please note that ex-servicemen will be given an exemption from PET; however, they will have to undergo PMT. All candidates must qualify in all tests to be eligible for consideration
